And Rotorua A&P Show

We had a wonderful day out to Rotorua A&P Show 2015. This is a relaxed show but usually with some excellent representation by suri breeders. It was first time in the ring for our two daughters and both they and the alpacas did a great job winning Champion Brown (Princess Jasmine) and Champion Dark Fawn (Romeo). Even though the numbers at the show don't compare to the National Show it is worth getting the feedback from the judge to inform your breeding programme. The judge in this case was Peter Kennedy from Canchones and he seem impressed with both Jasmine and Romeo. We have a good feeling about Romeo and are looking forward to the National Show 2015 when he will have grown out a bit more to get some more feedback before we use him for breeding.
