Democracy in action...Todd called (MP for the Western Bay). Of course it was during witching hour when my three dogs and two children all run round the living room in circles jumping over furniture. I am not exaggerating. They do. Daily. At 5 pm. Don't yours? Taking him outside onto the deck, we proceeded to have a very pleasant discussion about the alpaca industry. He called me sensible. I thanked him for responding to my husband's email. I am not really sure what will happen. However, there is at least one member of the house who is now aware that alpacas don't bite and that alpacas could be the future of New Zealand. OK, I didn't go quite that far. He is going to bring his children up to visit when the next babies arrive. Only in New Zealand.
