Squeak, Jewel and QEII all headed off to pastures green. They are now grazing paddocks knee deep in lush green grass. They won't know themselves after our Winter.
A bit sad to see these girls go as they were always good for a bit of a nuzzle (read food-motivated). At the same it is wonderful to know that they are going to someone who has wanted alpacas forever and that they will get spoiled rotten.
We have huge interest in our alpacas at the minute. Is it the sudden housing boom and lots of people moving onto new properties? Is it our marketing, alpaca association promotion? Is it just random? Or is it because we are going away for a month? Probably the latter!
